Hire
For sight-seeing in the Agnes Water / Town of 1770 area we can hire you a 4 wheel drive vehicle so you can explore more of what the Discovery Coast has to offer.
National Parks
To the north we have Eurimbula National Park fronting onto Bustard Bay, and to the south is Deep Water National Park. Both offer basic camping sites, well off the beaten track, and there is much to see. The roads here are not much more than sand tracks and not suitable for ordinary 2 wheel drive vehicles.
Sunset BBQ
Get your friends together and organise a sunset bbq in Eurimbula National Park or at Wreck Rock in Deepwater National Park. You can get right to the edge of the beach and watch the sunset while the fire gets going, we can even supply a bbq plate for cooking on.
Groups
Get a group of friends together and explore in convoy or hire our 11 seat troop carrier.
Camper Van
Now that we have a camper van all fitted out with all the camping equipment you will need you can get away from everyone and spend some time camping in comfort at some of our beautiful spots.
For example, Workman's beach camp ground, run by the National Parks Board, overlooks one of the most picturesque beaches you will come across. Truly romantic, just when you need to leave the other travellers behind.
If you are backpacking around Australia and have just discovered this part of Queensland, you may like to get away from the crowds at the hostels, and this is the way to do it.
Fishing and Camping
Both National Parks offer good fishing spots as well as surf breaks only accessible by 4x4 vehicles.
Camping is an option for most of the year, and the roads are not too difficult, even for inexperienced drivers. You can travel through Deep Water to Baffle Creek for beach or estuary or creek fishing, and come back by road to complete the loop.
Car licence only
You only require a valid car licence to drive these vehicles, and no special experience is required, we will give you pointers when you go.
Bird watchers
Use our vehicles to get you to spots you can't get to otherwise, and see our native animals and birds up close. We live in an isolated part of the world and have many unique attractions.
